Externally Pressurized Expansion Joints
Features
The expansion joint comprises inner cylinder, outer cylinder, protective sleeve and bellows. The bellow is connected to the inner and outer cylinders at both ends. The medium is in contact with the outer surface and subject to system pressure. As the bellow under outer pressure is not subject to pillar stability, the number of waves can be increased to an extent that is produces stronger axial compensation compared to normal axial expansion joints. It is applicable to long and straight pipelines with a large axial displacement.
